Terms of Use

By downloading or using CookLikeIt (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. The service

CookLikeIt helps you turn cooking videos into step-by-step recipes with timers and optional voice guidance. Core features may work without an account. Premium features (“Infinity”) may require a paid subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play.

2. Subscriptions and purchases

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google under their terms.
Prices and periods are shown in the App / store listing before purchase.
Manage or cancel in your store account settings (Subscriptions).
Restoring purchases uses your store account; we do not issue refunds directly — request refunds from Apple or Google when applicable.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access, abuse AI/extraction features, or use content you do not have rights to process. Video links you paste are processed to generate recipes for your personal use.

4. Intellectual property

The App, branding, and original software belong to Gamma Pass LLC or its licensors. Recipes you create or import remain yours subject to third-party rights in source videos/materials.

5. AI and third-party services

Recipe extraction may use third-party AI and platform services (for example YouTube captions, Google Gemini, RevenueCat, Apple/Google billing). Their terms also apply.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is.” Cooking involves risk; always follow food-safety practices. We do not guarantee accuracy of extracted recipes, timers, or nutrition-related text.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gamma Pass LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
