Features — Hands-Free Voice Cooking
Hands-free voice cooking lets you follow any recipe without touching your phone. CookLikeIt reads each step aloud, listens for natural commands, and manages timers for you. Therefore, your hands stay on the food and your screen stays clean.
What is a hands-free cooking app?
A hands-free cooking app is an app that guides you by voice while you cook. For example, you say “next” to advance, “repeat” to hear again, and “start timer” to begin the timer for chopping, simmering, or baking. Consequently, you avoid greasy taps and constant scrolling.
How does voice guided cooking work?
On-device AI handles speech recognition and text-to-speech. Moreover, it understands phrases like “next step” or “go back.” In addition, timers start automatically for steps like “simmer 5 minutes” and you hear a chime when time is up. As a result, you stay focused on heat and seasoning.
What is Chef Mode and widgets?
Chef Mode runs two recipes in parallel and coordinates a head cook and helpers with shared timers. Meanwhile, live widgets show the current step, active timers and next action on your home screen even when the app is in background. Similarly, step images show how each stage should look.
Meal planner with grocery list — 5 to 500 portions
Scale any recipe from a family dinner (5) to a home-restaurant event (500). The app merges ingredients, groups by aisle, and lets you edit, print or share in one tap. For instance, a YouTube Short for ramen becomes a shopping list for 12 guests in seconds.
